129 Update: 1/16/12

Things have been busy lately here at Studio129. A trip to California to capture a week with Ryan Sipes was the most recent adventure and we’re currently in the process of releasing all of the videos this week for viewing. While in California, we spent time at the Yamaha test track, in Arizona with Steve Hatch and Taylor Robert and also “hooped-it-up” with Jimmy Albertson, Destry Abbott, Justin Bogle and a slew of other cool dudes. The highlight for myself was getting to pack a backpack of camera gear, put on some riding gear and head out into the desert with Ryan, Steven Squire, Steve Hatch, Taylor Robert and others to shoot some trails and see how they all trained in a different environment. Trips like that make me see how blessed I am to be able to do what I do.

It’s so great to have support from all the motocross community to help push the videos to the public. It was a real challenge to decide what to do with a week’s worth of video from following Ryan around. We contemplated a very long video that would almost be 30 minutes in length, but decided that most A.D.D. dirt bike riders would not want to sit for that long and watch, so we concluded a 7-part series would be best. After some long hours of editing in the office, on the road, in the air and in some random coffee shops, the project is complete.
